candidates for the following position.
Chief of Operations (COO)
Responsibilities:
The Chief of Operations will develop and implement
strategic plans to advance GLP’s mission and revenue, profitability
and growth objectives; oversee company operations to ensure
maximization of resources; represent and promote GLP nationally;
establish and maintain strong relationships with major government,
non-profit and corporate clients necessary for ensuring the company’s
growth; lead a powerful team of staff and business partners.
Qualifications:
Senior management experience in small business (not sole proprietor); business and marketing acumen; visionary/strategic thinker; Bachelors degree; ability to travel internationally.
Assets:
Experience and/or strong relationships in health education, non-profit sectors or higher education; for-profit experience; graduate degree; French or Spanish language.
Location: North America/virtual
Commitment: 60% time (at least 3 days/week)
Proposed Hire Date: July 1, 2010
Anticipated Salary Range: 60% of up to $62,500/annual
Anticipated Closing Date: Monday, March 8, 2010
