Joan Dempsey
Programs Manager
Global Learning Partners,Inc.
When I was first introduced to the principles and practices of Dialogue Education in GLP’s foundation course,Learning to Listen,Learning to Teach,I was immediately hooked. As someone who has worked for more than twenty years in the non-profit sector,I have conducted countless seminars and workshops and had always been looking for a learning method that would turn ordinary participants into engaged and extraordinary learners;Dialogue Education does just that! I studied adult learning theory and applied the principles and practices of Dialogue Education while earning both my MFA and post-graduate teaching certificate in creative writing at Antioch University Los Angeles.
I like applying Dialogue Education to all kinds of circumstances, both personal and professional,so stay tuned to my blog posts for a whole host of revolutionary ideas about dialogue.
